You are forgiven if at first glance you thought the front of this vintage 1962 Kahn's Jim Brown card read "the winner the world awaited." The phrase would make sense when speaking of Brown, as he was wildly successful and extremely influential in everything he did in life: sports, acting, broadcasting, and advocating for Civil Rights for African Americans. However, this was a collectible packaged with hot dogs, so the word "wiener" is not a misprint. But the fact that this 3-1/4" by 4-3/16" oversized card was included along with processed meat makes it all the more miraculous that it survived in such impeccable condition. This is the one-and-only example graded Mint 9 by PSA, with none ranking above it. The last PSA 8 copy sold publicly brought in just over $1,500 in January 2016. This fresh-to-market mint specimen is sure to attract many fans of the Syracuse University alumnus, one of pro football's most widely collected old-timers. Brown is considered the greatest running back in NFL history, and is one of America's all-time greatest athletes. Bring home this card to make your collection just like Jim Brown—the best!
