Virtually nothing is known about the rare 1947 Bond Bread Perforated Dual sided cards other than that they are extraordinarily scarce, with the offered Bob Feller and Bette Davis card rating as the only copy known to exist. Significantly harder to find than than their Bond Bread Exhibit card counterparts, which are scarce enough on their own, we've speculated that the perforated cards may have been some sort of proof used by its manufacturer, a company called Elgee, to publicize examples of its printed products, which ranged from baseball to boxing cards as well as entertainment cards. The offered card has been graded NM-MT 8 and ranks as one of the two highest-graded examples on record at PSA from the entire set. The back shows a portrait of the legendary actress Bette Davis, one of the greatest actresses in American history. Two mammoth American legends on one obscure card make this offering worthy of your consideration. If rarity is the language of your collection, and if cultural and historical significance attract and inspire you, then this card is for you.
