If you are seeking the earliest Derek Jeter certified autograph card—and when we say earliest, we mean Kalamazoo Central High Class of 1992 early—you have three options: a Little Sun High School Prospects card, a Classic 4 Sport card, or a Front Row Draft Picks card. Although the Little Sun issue is the rarest of the trio, when it comes to condition sensitivity, the 1992 Front Row autographed card cannot be topped. With its delicate all-blue borders which are especially prone to chipping, it comes as no surprise to seasoned collectors that not a single PSA 10 Gem Mint copy of this treasured cardboard relic has ever been uncovered.

Offered here is what we think is the closest thing. Inked in blue felt-tip marker by the New York Yankees' first-round pick of the 1992 MLB June Amateur Draft, this near-perfect specimen exhibits four sharp corners, brilliant colors, and perfect centering. Most importantly, while not totally pristine, its susceptible edges show only the slightest possible traces of chipping, which in our opinion are well within the bounds of a higher assessment. Bottom line, we think this is the finest 1992 Derek Jeter Front Row Autograph rookie card on the market. Study our high-resolution scans all you want, and make your comparisons to others in its unsurpassed grade, and we're confident you'll agree: this is a very special card.
