The 1991 Topps Desert Shield set remains one of the most collected sets of the last three decades. Due to the nature of their distribution, the cards are unusually difficult to find in Mint or better condition. Incredibly, VintageCardPrices.com tabulates the value of a completely PSA 10 graded set at over $90,000 and a completely PSA 9 graded set at nearly $20,000. While this group of 45 high-grade cards is a far cry from being a complete set, it is a significant step in that direction. Included are 45 cards, all but six of which have been graded PSA 9 Mint. Counted among those Mint 9 blazers are several of the sets key cards, including Frank Thomas, Cal Ripken Jr., and Edgar Martinez, the combined value of which exceeds the minimum bid. Whether you're a veteran Desert Storm collector, a veteran of Desert Storm, or just a hobbyist looking for a new project, we encourage you to take a big bite out of the 1991 Desert Shield set with a winning bid on this high-grade set starter collection.
